Although the weather can’t quite make up its mind whether it’s summer yet or not, it’s definitely on its way, and I’m looking forward to some outdoor dining. There are of course barbecues, but this month, I’m embracing the joy of picnics with a selection of Thermomix recipes that are easy to prepare, transport, and share. Plus, I’m taking a moment to remind you that anyone can be a chef with a Thermomix! Whether you cook regularly, consider yourself a hazard in the kitchen, or you want to encourage your children to join in, the Thermomix has got you covered!

👩‍👧‍👦 Little Cooks, Big Helpers!

Get the kids involved and make cooking part of the family fun

Cooking with children is a great way to build confidence, teach life skills, and get them excited about healthy food. Thermomix makes it safe, easy, and interactive – here’s how they can help:

👩‍🍳 Measure it out – Let them weigh ingredients on the built-in scales (hello, sneaky maths skills!).
💦 Wash the veg – Younger ones can rinse fruit and veg ready for chopping.
🥣 Stir and mix – Use guided cooking modes for safe mixing, kneading and stirring.
🎨 Decorate and top – From muffins to tarts, kids love adding final touches (and taste-testing, of course).

And don’t forget the after-school snack potential! Thermomix is perfect for making:
🧀 Mini pizzas
🍡 Pancake and Fruit kebabs
🥕 Veg sticks with homemade Hummus
🍪 Peanut Butter Energy balls or simple cookie dough

Whether you’re raising a mini chef or just want to spend more time together in the kitchen, Thermomix helps make it happen – no expert cooking skills needed.

Featured Recipes

Al fresco, or as a pack up for work or a day out, these recipes fit the bill.

Chicken Caprese Pasta Salad – prepare this in advance and pop in a tub ready to take with you. If you’re using this for a packed lunch, you can have a few days’ worth of meals here.

Feta, Olive, and Herb Muffins – these are super easy to transport and share to have as a snack, or team it up with a Broccoli Salad to make more of a meal. Alternatively, if you have the Cutter or Spiralizer, you could whizz up your favourite veg to go with it.

Raspberry Tartlets – for a sweet treat to finish the meal, these delicate tartlets are perfect. 😍

As the evenings get warmer, I for one will be enjoying a drink with friends and family in the evening. Put together a social treat with MargaritasApple, Strawberry and Ginger Mocktails with a platter of canapes.

These recipes can be made with any of the Thermomix models. If you want to see what’s available for your model only, or to use a specific accessory like the Spiralizer, select your Thermomix version and/or the accessory in the filter menu, and the hit search.
