Hey Fabulous Foodies!
Let me share with you a story of one of my owners who’s still learning about her TM6:
This owner has been in my community for several years now, and has her own Thermomix. She thought she knew the little tricks and hacks, and uses hers regularly. Last month she hosted a demo for 3 friends of hers: they all had a fun night, the non-owners learnt about the Thermomix and the owner, well, she learnt a few things too! Oh, and she got her reward for hosting as a bonus.
I love supporting my owners and I love educating people about what the Thermomix can do, so I have an ask. Share my details with anyone who is thinking about buying a Thermomix, or indeed anyone that you think needs one 😉
Cheeky Challenge
I love spotting Thermomix machines when I’m out and about or watching TV. And I often mention that some of the top chefs use a Thermomix in their kitchens so I was thrilled when one of my owners pointed out that Masterchef – the Professionals was back for a new TV series, and he’s already spotted a Thermomix in action. My challenge is to post a pic of any Thermomix you spot in the Facebook community.
Featured Recipes
Following on my story at the beginning, I wanted to share with you more about the demo experience, and what you can expect when I’m booked. The first thing I’ll always do is check if there are any dietary requirements, and suggested menu options will be around that. For this demo party, we had seafood and nut allergies to cater for. Some of the suggested dishes were:
✔️ Chicken Chorizo and Chickpea Stew
✔️ Butter Chicken
✔️ Sausage and Pea Risotto
✔️ Mango and Turmic Sorbet
All delicious dishes which I’ve cooked before, but not what we cooked on the night. Instead we went for Chilli with Corn Bread. The chilli and the corn bread are both cooked in the Thermomix with the bread steaming in the varoma and the chilli cooking in the bowl. There are lots of choices when it comes to chilli recipes, but this is personally one of my favourites. If you want to cook it without the bread, you can customise the recipe on the Cookidoo app – Thermomix’s recipe platform. The chilli was served with the Super Quick Broccoli Salad.
Cocktails were also on the menu! I had suggested the Champagne Lemon Slush (which works perfectly with prosecco too), and my host added Bellinis to the menu as an arrival drink. This particular recipe states frozen peaches, but I can confirm that tinned peaches work just as well if you can’t get frozen or fresh 🍹. Both were absolutely lovely!
More Demo Feedback 😀
“I’ve held quite a few Thermomix evenings for friends with Natasha hosting. The first thing I’d say is that they are always really fun; everyone has a great time trying the machine plus all of the food. It’s also very relaxed; a demonstration can sound very formal but it’s really not like this at all, Natasha just explains things and is great at reading the room and going with the vibe of the group. She is the least salesy person I know and truly just wants everyone to have a good time which is why I’ve had her back time & time again.
Just as an aside if anyone does buy a machine (which I personally couldn’t live without) the follow up care is second to none and whether you’ve had it 2 weeks or 2 years Natasha is there to help, inspire, trouble shoot and basically be a phenomenal support forever more!
So if you want a fun way of getting friends together, cooking delicious food and doing something a bit novel I’d highly recommend it.”
