Hello, My Fabulous Foodies!
What a month! I’ve packed my son off back to university, with his Thermomix of course! He’s even done a Come Dine With Me style dinner with 3 other friends, and his TM6 was the star for his meal. I have also been to Seville for a Thermomix trip that I won in April. It was an amazing trip with an outing to a Michelin-star restaurant for a tasting menu experience and cooking masterclass with one of the chefs. There was a carriage ride, a flamenco show and a tour around a palace. I’ve made some fabulous memories. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported my business, even with a like or a share, it helped me get to there, and it means a lot 🙏🏻
Here are a few of my favourite moments, and if you watch the official video clip here you can see more, and I think you can even see me!
Featured Recipes
Autumn brings an abundance of wonderful fruit and vegetables to use, and it’s the time of year to start cooking winter warmers. Here are some of my favourite ideas for you to try that can all be found on Cookidoo – Thermomix’s recipe platform. I’d love to hear about what you’re cooking this autumn in my Facebook Community.
Soups
Of course, you can have soup at any time of the year, but there’s something just so comforting about a warm bowl of soup and crusty bread on a chilly day. Give the Curried Parsnip Soup or Broccoli and Stilton Soup a go. Or whip up a batch of Creamy Tomato Soup and swirl through some Basil Pesto before you serve it up. The Thermomix has you covered for an accompaniment of bread too!
Stews & Casseroles
There is a huge range of stews and casseroles to choose from, and some are a complete meal in themselves; that don’t need a vegetable or carb side dish. They are also, along with soups, great for batch cooking so that you have a ready supply of meals in the freezer when you need it.
The Puy Lentil and Sausage Casserole is a little different to a seasonal ‘Bangers and Mash’, but no less delicious. Another great choice is Beef Goulash, or if you want the flavour in a soup, you could opt for Beef Goulash Soup.
🎃 Halloween 🎃
Time for some for some spooky fun with your TM6!
Maybe you just want to freak-i-y your main meal with the Beef Stew with Ghoulish Mashed Potato Ghosts (you don’t need to be a kid to enjoy this). Or, you want to create your own yummy (trick or) treats like Halloween Witches’ Hats and Sausage Mummies.
