It’s been a whirlwind recently andĀ my day job āļøš has been interfering š¤¦š»āāļø But don’t worry, I might not have any demo and events in the diary at the moment, but they will be popping up over the coming weeks. Keep look out š in theĀ Facebook groupĀ for details coming out.

Owner Spotlight
I love hearing stories from myThermomix owners who are discovering how the TM6 can change their worlds.Ā Recently one of my owners told me a story š
She had aĀ poorly cat who needed to have a diet of plain chicken. In the past, she’s boiled the chicken and shredded it with forks, and she wasn’t looking forward to doing that again! A š” moment. On Cookidoo she looked up a shredded chicken recipe and foundĀ Ā Shredded Chicken Satay Pad Thai. Skipping straight to the chicken steps in the recipe, she was able to perfectly steam and easily shred the chicken. Great for the cat, but it’s meant that shredded chicken is a staple in the house now for easy salads and sandwich fillings. And with a Mexican marinade, it makes the ideal topping for nachos.
š¤Ā Ā Did you know you could shred meat in your Thermomix?
Manual Shredding Instructions:
- Steam the Meat:Ā Place your meat (e.g., chicken breasts) in the Varoma dish. Add 750g water to the Thermomix bowl, and if desired, add some stock, garlic, and herbs for extra flavour. Steam for 15-20 minutes/Varoma/speed 1, adjusting time based on thickness and weight.
- Shred the Meat:Ā Once cooked and slightly cooled, place the meat into the Thermomix bowl. Mix forĀ 3 sec/reverse/speed 4. If you’d like it finer, mix for a second or two moreāitās better to under-mix at first rather than over-mix!

Whether it’s a romantic meal for 2, or you’re having a get together with a friend or one of your favourite people, it’s a great excuse to treat yourself to a delicious 3 course meal. Let’s dive in, with some inspiration. Luckily for Thermomix owners, we haveĀ CookidooĀ as the recipe platform that integrates into the TM6, and there’s a huge range of recipes to choose from.
For starters, I’ve picked theĀ Baba Ganoush, a creamy, smoky aubergine dip that is the perfect dip forĀ pitta bread. OrĀ Baked Camembert with Mandarin Jam and Herb CrackersĀ –Ā A rich, gooey starter with a sweet citrus twist.
If you’re after a meat-free main, try theĀ Indian-Spiced Roast Butternut and Chickpea CurryĀ which can be served withĀ Cauliflower RiceĀ or a homemadeĀ Naan Bread. If meat is your thing give theĀ Sous-vide Rare Beef SteakĀ a go. Instead of the herb butter, aĀ BĆ©arnaise SauceĀ works wonderfully.
For dessert, I couldn’t not go with a chocolate option! TheĀ Chocolate MousseĀ is not only easy to made, but it’s delicious too. Accompany the meal with a lovely cocktail, or serve one as an aperitif like theĀ Strawberry Lemonade Mimosa. Bon Appetit!
