Thanksgiving is round the corner with Christmas hot on its heels. It’s definitely time to start thinking how a TM7 can make your life easier for those celebration meals. Not to mention the potential of handmade gifts which is my focus for this month’s featured recipes.

Creations with Love
— Homemade Gifts from Your Kitchen

There’s something really special about giving a gift you’ve made yourself. A jar of jam, a box of truffles, or a bottle of infused oil feels thoughtful and personal — and your Thermomix makes it wonderfully easy.

I’m getting in there early with some ideas and tips to help your homemade gifts feel extra special this year:

🎁 Batch the basics — Double or triple recipes to make the most of your time. Many sauces, spreads and sweet treats keep beautifully, so one cook-up session can fill several gift jars.

🍯 Package with purpose — Glass jars, swing bottles, and little cellophane bags look lovely and are reusable. Add a pretty ribbon, label, or sprig of rosemary to make it feel festive.

💌 Add a personal touch — Include a hand-written tag with serving ideas or the story behind the recipe (“This chutney goes perfectly with Boxing Day ham”).

🧊 Think about shelf life — Choose recipes that can be stored safely. Jams, chutneys and oils can be made weeks in advance, while fudge, biscuits or truffles are best made closer to gifting day.

🌿 Make it a moment — Turn a quiet weekend afternoon into a creative kitchen session. Put on some music, make a hot chocolate or mulled apple juice, and enjoy the process — this is what “made with love” really means.

Your Thermomix can help you create beautiful, handmade gifts that taste amazing and show just how much thought you’ve put in. Scroll down to Featured Recipes for recipe inspiration and why not pop over to the Facebook Community to share your creations!

Featured Recipes

Whether it’s for Thanksgiving or Christmas, I want to give you some inspiration for those handmade gifts to give. All of the recipes are available on Cookidoo, the recipe platform used on all Thermomix models.

🍫 Chocolate Truffles — a classic, with a touch of luxury. You could wrap them up individually, or simply have them in a beautiful box to make them feel extra special.

🍬 Salted Chocolate Caramel Fudge — a rich and tasty treat. An owner has told me that she doesn’t put the chocolate element in, making it a salted caramel fudge, that works too.

🧄 Caramelised Red Onion Chutney — perfect for the cheese lover to accompany the obligatory Christmas cheeseboard.

🍓 Strawberry Jam — simple, fresh, and a timeless homemade gift.

🌿 Infused Oil — why not make a set including Garlic OilLemon and Rosemary Infused Oil and Chilli Oil.

🍪 Ginger Biscuits — fill a tin or stack and tie with ribbon for a festive treat.

🥜 Spiced Nuts — savoury, crunchy and ideal for gifting in jars.

All of these can be beautifully packaged in cute boxes, jars and bottles. A quick browse on Amazon, and you’ve got lots to choose from, and top them off with a piece of festive ribbon tied round.
